Yurt Rentals

When you visit Stonehouse Farm, embrace the opportunity to stay in one of our yurts. New to yurting? This modernized versions of traditional nomadic structures from Asia are circular domed tents over a lattice framework. Stonehouse Farm’s yurts have wooden floors, basic lighting and electricity, a skylight and windows, and bed frames with mattresses.  The perfect balance between a tent and cabin, the yurt allows you to connect with nature in a truly comfortable environment. Our small yurts host up to two people, while the large yurts are organized dormitory style, accommodating between four to eight guests. Please read the descriptions below to determine which yurt would be the best fit for you during your stay.

LARGE YURTS each sleep up to 8 guests. Each have wooden floors, basic lighting and electricity, a skylight, and windows that open. Rentals are by bed, or a group may rent an entire yurt for their exclusive use. 

Large Yurt #1: handicap-accessible, close to shower house and General Store.

Large Yurt #4: with 4 bunk beds in the vibrant center of the community space.

Large Yurt #5: with 4 bunk beds near the Sacred Fire Circle, and close to overnight parking.

SMALL YURTS each sleep up to 2 guests, and are rented for exclusive use (i.e. Stonehouse Farm does not place guests). Each have wooden floors, basic lighting and electricity, a skylight, and windows that open.

Small Yurt #2: queen-sized bed, handicap-accessible, near shower house.

Small Yurt #3: 2 single beds, centrally located near the Sacred Fire Pit.

Yurt rentals are available during the week for non-exclusive events; email info@stonehousefarm.com for more information or to register. During weekends and events, yurts rentals are prioritized for event participants.

Not the tent type? Stonehouse Farm has a furnished 24′ “fifth wheel” camper for rent in the RV park! It has a king-sized bed in a side loft, with a fully furnished and functioning kitchen and bathroom. The sofa and kitchen table both convert to beds if needed.

Spacious RV sites: Roll on in! Available with event registration.

Stonehouse Farm has a dedicated RV park on the west side of the property, with 35 sites surrounded by trees and landscaping with indigenous plants. Each site has easy hook-ups for water, electric, and/or septic.


Glamping, where Rustic Living Meets Pure Comfort!

You don’t have to be a seasoned camper to appreciate the joys of outdoor living. At Stonehouse Farm, we offer an alternative to traditional tent camping so every guest can connect with nature at their own pace. Our “glamping” option provides you with a hassle-free way to sleep under the stars. Your tent is set up for you, equipped with two cozy inflatable mattresses with pillows and sheets, and a lantern for use during the event. A spacious shower house with plenty of hot water is available for campers’ use and comfort. Please bring your own towel, toiletries, and blankets.


Basic Camping & Tent Rentals

Beyond the roaring engines of cars and the frantic energy of city living, there is a space and a place for relaxation and reconnection. Basic Camping is our most economic option, in which you bring your own tent and camping gear, pitch a tent, and settle into our countryside sanctuary. Stonehouse Farm enjoys an abundance of natural beauty, ranging from forests and prairie land, to streams and historic landmarks.

Tent rentals, available with event registration, accommodate one to two guests can be reserved with event registration. Guests pitch the tent and provide their own furnishings. A spacious shower house with plenty of hot water is available for campers’ use and comfort. We ask that you provide your own sleeping equipment, towels, toiletries, and blankets during your stay to be extra warm and cozy.
